Efforts in clay

Welcome to my website and thank you for taking an interest in my work!

My ceramic work is created from stoneware clay, using traditional techniques. Most of my work is thrown on the pottery wheel, with further pieces being hand built from slabs and/or coils of clay. I am drawn to simple forms and happy colours.

Based on the border of the beautiful counties of Yorkshire and Derbyshire, I combine my pottery practice with a busy family life.  As such, I create small batches of work and one-off items. I am also happy to take on commissions where possible.
