Efforts in clay

Welcome to my website and thank you for taking an interest in my work!

I make stoneware pottery that is designed to be used and enjoyed every day. Most of my work starts on the pottery wheel, though I also love the process of hand-building pieces from slabs or coils of clay. I’m drawn to simple, clean shapes and bright, happy colours.  My goal is to make well-crafted pieces that feel great to use; elevating your everyday rituals and providing unique and beautiful pieces to your home." 

Based on the border of the beautiful counties of Yorkshire and Derbyshire, I combine my pottery practice with a busy family life.  As such, I create small batches of work and one-off items. I am also happy to take on commissions where possible.
